Alex Rich

President

Alex Rich is the founder and president of Rich Commercial Group. He started his commercial real estate career as a summer intern with CB Richard Ellis in New York City.  After graduating from Florida State University with a double major in real estate and finance he moved back to Fort Lauderdale which has been his home ever since.  Prior to founding RCG Mr. Rich worked at One Investment Group where he assisted both private and institutional landlords in leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and investment sales.  He is dedicated to the success of his clients and building strong enduring relationships.

Mr. Rich is an active member of the international council of shopping centers and Florida State University’s alumni program

With 6 years of experience in commercial real estate, Shaz is a skilled advisor and Vice President with a deep understanding of market dynamics and a proven track record of executing successful transactions. Emad Khan

Senior Associate

Emad Khan is a Senior Real Estate Advisor for Stateland Brown LLC, who brings over 18 years of retail experience, with major oil companies, fuel distributors, and retail convenience stores.  Emad has demonstrated tremendous diverse real estate expertise that includes brokerage, development, acquisitions, senior management and leading the way in the petroleum industry in the Tri County area.

Emad began his retail career just days from his graduation in Business from Florida Atlantic University.  He held 8 corporate positions including Sales Manager, Resale Area Marketing Manager, New Business Acquisitions Manager, Marketing Training Advisor, Senior Real Estate Representative, Supervisor of Company Operations, Sales and Business Consultant.  Emad continued as the Retail Development Manager and pursued his passion for real estate as he joined Stateland Brown. Working together they orchestrated their real estate expansion in the United States with an emphasis in the South Florida market. Emad has assisted Oil Companies, several large and very successful east coast fuel distributors / jobbers in Florida to facilitate the acquisition and streaming of Chevron branded facilities.  In recent years, Emad also represented an alternative fuels oil company, with their real estate acquisitions in the State of Florida, expanding their growth of E-85 (Flex-Fuel) and Bio-di. He is a current member of the Florida National Association of Realtors.

Zeeshan Lakhani

Senior Associate

Zeeshan is a Senior Associate specializing in the sale of office buildings, representing clients ranging from local owners to institutional investors. He focuses on guiding clients through acquisitions and dispositions with a practical, data-driven approach and a strong understanding of market dynamics.

With a deep knowledge of office assets and a track record of successful transactions, Zeeshan helps clients unlock value and make confident decisions—whether it’s a stabilized asset, a value-add play, or a strategic portfolio sale.

Born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, Zeeshan graduated from Olympic Heights High School and went on to attend Florida Atlantic University, where he earned his associate’s degree before committing full-time to a career in real estate. His local roots give him a unique perspective and deep appreciation for the South Florida market.

Korey Besse

Senior Associate

Korey Besse joined Rich Commercial Group in October 2024, bringing fresh energy and a strong foundation in business management and marketing from Florida Gulf Coast University, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Integrated Studies with dual concentrations in Business Management and Marketing. Since day one, he’s been dedicated to helping investors, landlords, and tenants successfully acquire, lease, and sell commercial properties across Lee, Collier, Sarasota, and Charlotte Counties.

Before launching his career in commercial real estate, Korey was raised in Fort Myers, FL, and graduated from Bishop Verot High School as a dual-sport athlete. He went on to play college football as a quarterback for three years—one year at Wagner College in Staten Island, NY, and two years at Erskine College in Due West, SC. These formative experiences helped build his strategic thinking, poise under pressure, and commitment to excellence—qualities he now brings to every deal.

With a background in marketing and sales, Korey combines strategic insight with clear communication to deliver results for both local and institutional clients. He is experienced in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and investment sales, bringing a market-savvy and detail-oriented approach to every transaction.
